How many cabins does my charter party need?

As a rule of thumb, each couple wants one cabin and children under ~12 sleep in the same cabin as their parents (a catamaran cabin takes 2 adults + 1–2 small children). Two single adults will usually share a twin cabin. So a party of 4 adults + 2 kids typically needs 2–3 guest cabins, not 3–4.

Should the parents take the master suite or a bow cabin?

The owner’s suite (usually starboard aft) is the largest berth with the biggest head, so it suits the senior couple. Forward cabins are quieter at anchor but can slam in a chop, which is why we put couples forward and single travellers aft in the "Parents at Bow" plan.

What is the best cabin layout for 2 couples plus 2 kids?

Put each couple in its own cabin with one child in each, and keep the remaining cabins spare or for the kids when they are teenagers. Our "Equal Split" plan does exactly this and scores highest on togetherness; "Privacy-Max" scores higher on romance but needs one more cabin.

Does the cabin split change which boat we should charter?

Yes — cabin count and head count drive the model choice. If a plan needs more cabins than the selected boat has, we automatically suggest the next size up (for example a Lagoon 46 → Lagoon 50). If the boat is far bigger than your party needs, we suggest a smaller model with the same comfort.
