First-Time Charter charters in Martinique

Why Martinique for first-time charter charters

Martinique is a strong match for first-time charter charters: Easy-to-handle rigs, sheltered routes, 24/7 shore-side support, and forgiving checklists.. The cruising is bareboat / crewed with moderate conditions that reward experienced crews. You'll typically depart from Marina du Marin and island-hop inside a well-charted sailing area. Peak weeks (Dec/Jan/Feb) bring the most settled weather; shoulder weeks (Nov/May) trade some wind reliability for better pricing and fewer crowds. For first-time charter specifically, plan to spend 7 nights minimum so you can rotate between two or three anchorages rather than rush. Catamarans 45-50 ft with 4 guest cabins cover 90% of first-time charter requests here — bigger boats only if you want crewed service and fly-bridge entertaining space. Book early for Dec — that's when the right boats for first-time charter go first.
