General Info
The Gemini is particularly well suited for Florida West
Coast waters which tend to be shallow and in some cases
with limited overhead clearance. With its 18” draft,
the boat can be beached on a sandy bottom and the mast
height permits unrestricted travel under Cape Coral
bridges and throughout the length of the Okeechobee
Waterway to the Florida East coast. The 14’ beam
permits dockage in standard berths in most marinas.
The boat is extremely stable and seaworthy, having been
sailed TransAtlantic by the designer and his son. In
weather, a catamaran is unique in that it sits on top of
the waves rather than pounding through in the manner of
a conventional monohull. |
