BROKER REMARKS:
MORNING STAR was launched in January 2003 and sailed over on her own bottom from South Africa. The first owner cruised on her with crew for 6 months in the Caribbean before putting her up for sale due to health problems. The second owner bought her and moved her to St Croix where he and his family have used her mainly for weekend sailing. She was hauled and put in dry dock from June to Dec. 2004 for hurricane season where she was professionally taken care of with all the normal maintenance issues sorted out. The engines have been professionally maintained on a regular basis with filter, oil, belt changes and other scheduled maintenance (830 hours on port engine, and 860 on starboard). New anti-fouling applied. Basically she has been in the hands of professional crew and/or a maintenance company all her life and is in pristine condition.
