La Liberte is simply a stunning yacht that was designed for luxurious live-aboard, blue water world cruising. She is equipped to cruise oceans or visit quiet creeks, and is easily handled by a crew of two, is particularly stable, very safe and easy to handle under power or short-handed sailing, yet provides spacious accommodation and deck space in true comfort.
This deck saloon is British registered, European Vat paid and equipped regardless of cost, she has never been chartered and only used seasonally and privately by the owners since new.
La Liberte has all the comforts, safety and technical features one expects and has proven herself over 10,000 cruising miles. We are only selling her to buy a larger yacht. One would have to look at a 60ft plus mono-hull to have comparable accommodation, and La Liberte has a cockpit that many 80ft yachts would envy!

"La Liberte" is a personalized version of the "Open Plan Layout". The whole of the port hull has been designated to the owners thus providing maximum comfort and privacy.
Starting aft port is the owner's master cabin, forward to walk-through area with numerous hanging lockers and chest fridge freezer, forward to spacious owner's head, home size electric head and separate shower cubicle that is comfortable by any standard.
Three double cabins, six berths, tow heads, & two showers.
Both showers aboard are home size and thermostatically controlled.
The huge bridge deck saloon provides virtually all-round vision with seating for at eight in comfort, an interior pilot station and huge non-standard chart table (1.0 mtr x1.85 mtr) with chart plotter and radar.
In the starboard hull starting aft is the guest's suite comprising, double cabin with en-suite electric head and shower. Adjacent to the saloon and not "cut off" is the well-equipped galley, finally forward to the third smaller double cabin.
The cockpit provides seating at the table for 6 dinning or 12 partying under a large Bimini, there is also a tropical deck awning for the hottest places.

Epoxy treated and anti-fouled with 4 coats of "Copperbot" anti fouling at construction,(normally 2 coats are applied).

Owner's Comments

My wife and I have many sailing years experience (she professionally for 15), so naturally we viewed a large number of catamarans in Europe and the USA prior to commissioning La Liberte. It is our belief that the practice of loading catamarans with unnecessary (to us) heavy generators and air-conditioning units and other electrically driven devices dramatically affects their performance and makes them totally "power dependant".
Think about it…if the generator fails so does the air-conditioning or heating, water-maker, and freezer and anything else that depends on it!
"La Liberte" has both a large water maker (21 gallons per hour) and fridge & freezer, however, both are driven independently by the main engines. The Webasto central heating is a totally independent stand alone system.
