Layout & Accommodations The interior and the exterior layout of the Catalyst are slightly different from the similar open plan models.  The main cabin features a large circular settee, which faces aft, lots of storage and is well ventilates by large overhead hatches.  The large forward windows add brightness to the interior.  The port hull is semi-customized.  Starting forward, there is a small separate storage area, then a large storage area for hanging wet locker or just standard boat gear.  Just aft and separate is the head and shower which is a good size.  Aft is the navigation station which is a stand up arrangement, nicely laid out, with built in repeaters, carbon monoxide sniffer, voltage monitors, tank tender and drawer space galore.  Aft is the master cabin with a double bed, hanging locker and shelves.   The starboard hull, starting forward, is a large hanging locker, then an area that in lieu of being a sleeping berth, is for dressing and has excellent storage that compliments the galley which is just aft.  This area has custom built lockers and shelves.  The galley is efficient and well laid out, with a three burner stove top and a separate oven with a broiler.   The refrigerator runs on 110 volt, 12 volt, or propane.  Aft is another cabin for sleeping and contains an additional large refrigerator/freezer box

Electronics and Navigational Equipment The instruments package is a combination of KVH, Furuno, and Robertson.  Furuno radar 16 mile, Furuno Navigator GPS GP-70 MK2, Roberson Auto Pilot AP200 DL Sail, Robertson Dual Station VHF, KVH speed and distance logs, depth sounder, and wind speed indicator.  There is a remote for controlling the autopilot away from of the cockpit.

Mechanical & Electrical There are three Kryceria 80 watt solar panels that are mounted on the hard top controlled by a Trace C-40 charge controller.  The rest of he electrical package consists of four house batteries with a parallel switch, a separate engine start battery, a Heart Freedom 2000, inverter and a dockside electrical cables.  The engine is a 3 cylinder Yanmar and powers an upgraded Sonic sail drive.  Heat is provided by an Espar diesel fueled heater and hot water is provided by a propane fueled instant heater.  There is a portable A/C unit aboard.   The waste tank is an approximately 30 gallon stainless steel tank with a manual pump out.

Deck & Hulls The deck and hulls are fiberglass. The cockpit is covered with a fiberglass hardtop and have two built in stereo speakers.  The 35 lbs Delta anchor has an electric windlass controller either from the cockpit or the forward deck.  There are side stanchions with lifelines, manual dinghy davits, a hot and cold-water cockpit shower, life ring, swim ladder and a propane barbeque.  Also included are fender, lines, and two more anchors

Other Features Catalyst is equipped with a 9' Avon inflatable with a rigid bottom.  The inflatable was new in 2000 and has a 4hp outboard.
