SAILMATES II is a well built, strong vessel. We have sailed her to Cape Hatteras and around the sounds and rivers locally. The boat was in fresh water up to 2001 when I purchased the boat. Many of the above items are new. All pumps are new, maceator, many loving hours were spent getting the boat into great shape. This boat sails flat, we usually set the chart plotter, then set the autopilot, and just cruise effortlessly. This boat can easily be sailed single handled as all lines lead back to the protected cockpit. At cruising speed under power, I burn about 1/2 gallon of gas per hour.
