DECK & HULLS:
The hull and deck are constructed of 100% Isopathalic resin with tri-axial knitted fiberglass fabric. The first outside layer of FRP uses a vinylester resin for superior osmotic protection. Interprotect 2000 Epoxy Barrier Coat is included. Carbon fiber reinforced beam is used under the mast. Both hulls, above the water line, and deck (except for hardware attachment points, which are solid fiberglass) are cored with Corecell rigid foam. All coring is vacuum-bagged to ensure 100% adhesion. Transoms have four steps molded in. The starboard transom has a stainless steel boarding ladder. All bulkheads are taped to the hull using x-weave knitted fabric which allows up to 50% more strength than standard cloth. There are two watertight compartments forward. The fin keels have a sacrificial section allowing for substantial damage to keels without endangering the boat.
Front Beam - Forestay and Bridle - The front beam acts as a compression member for a wire bridle, which is used in conjunction with the Pelican Striker. This beam also supports the net.
Fairleads - two on each bow on the inboard side.
Mooring Cleats - one on each bow; one on each side amidship; one on each transcom
Rubrail - heavy duty PVC rubber and stainless steel half round retaining strip; fasteners are on 6" center; transom has large rubber fender
Stanchions - five stainless steel stanchions, evenly spaced along cabin top; solid rail across back with goes to transoms
Front net - vinyl dipped Dacron safety net in which with lacing at bow & along centerline.
Grab Rails - six strategically located on cabin top to create a safe walkway and allow tie offs for bumpers.
Opening Hatches & Ports - one 10' X 2' opening hatch in saloon; five in each aft cabin; two in saloon; three in the galley and two i navigation area; one in the head; flyscreens included on all port & hatches; all hatches are large enough to be used as escape hatches
Windows - expansive forward window in saloon to allow excellent forward vision; large side window in saloon affords good visibility athwartships; all windows trimmed to match door
Door to Saloon - hinged polycarbonate door with locking latch
Chain Plates - two 316 stainless steel located on the port and starboard cabin side and bolted into primary reinforcements.
Steering Gear - 24" stainless steel destroyer type wheel linked to two balanced rudders via a wire pull-pull system; rudders are linked by tiller bar; accommodation for emergency steering throughout transom second step; UHMW Polyethylene Bearings.
Cockpit Cushions - 2" polyurethane flotation cushion - helm; 2" polyurethane flotation cockpit cushions.
Deck Inlets/Outlets - fresh water forward in front of saloon seating; sewge pumpout (optional); fuel filler located in cockpit aft deck.
Deck Lockers - one in each bow; two across the aft deck; one in walk-through between cabins.
Jib & Hardware - working jib 6 1/ 2 oz; Harken self-tracking sheet led aft to helm station; furling line led aft to helm station
SAILS & RIGGING:
Mast - deck stepped anodized aluminum alloy extrusion 42' tall - 7/8 rig; all halyards are led to cockpit; conduit for all wiring; wired with steaming and anchor light; one Harken halyard winch mounted in cockpit.
Boom - anodized aluminum alloy extrusion; two single-line reefing lines lead to the cockpit.
Rigging - one forestay; two capstays; one set of diamond shrouds; all stays are 1 X 19 stainless steel wire with swaged terminals and Gibb bronze turnbuckles.
Running Rigging - one main halyard; one jib halyard; one topping lift; one mainsheet; one jib sheet; one set of mainsail car traveller controls
