We have owned KIM for 9 years and have sailed approx 18,000 miles in her.  She has competed in the Isle of Wight round the island race and in A.R.C. 2000 where she came 5th in her class.  Atlantic crossing time was 21 days from The Cannaries to St Lucia.  She will motor flat out at 8 knots or cruise at 5 - 6 knots., at cruising revs fuel consumption is gal per hour.  We have sailed her at 14 knots but mostly cruise at 6 8 knots.  She always tacks without needing to back the headsail or where her around as most cats need.  She is the 5th catamaran we have owned and has been our cruising home for the last 5 years.  We have been very happy on her and the only reason she is being sold is because we now need a steel boat to go to the Arctic.
