LAYOUT & ACCOMMODATION:
Three cabin, one head configuration.  The main salon is furnished with a well equipped galley to starboard, large dinette on the centerline and the navigation station to port.  The dinette sitting follows the natural curve of the cabin and comfortably seats six owners / guests.  There are two large storage bins beneath the seats.   The navigator can sit at the hinged chart table which is easily accessible from the cockpit.  The hulls are dedicated entirely to berthing accommodations, bath facilities and storage.  The port hull houses the Owner’s cabin which is furnished with a large double berth, storage bins and shelves. The roomy head compartment is located aft and is equipped with a marine toilet, sink, shower.  The starboard hull is furnished with two guest cabins, each with large double berths, storage lockers and shelves.  Both hulls have generous storage bins beneath the berths as well as in the forward sections. 

The interior is finished with molded head liners, wooden dinning and chart table tops and water resistant vinyl flooring.  The salon and cabins are well lit  and ventilated by way of 2 deck hatches, 5 opening ports and two large fixed ports in  the cabin trunk.  The access from salon to cockpit is via a large sliding glass door which provides additional ventilation and natural light to the main salon.  

GALLEY: 
A curved counter top incorporates the stainless steel sink, 3-burner SMEV propane stove, and large refrigeration compartment cooled by a 12 Volt  FRIGOMATIC unit. Multiple storage cupboards and drawers complete this functional galley.

MECHANICAL:
Twin 18 hp. Yanmar sail drive diesel engines. Sea strainers, fuel filters, Racors, Fire extinguishers.  Both engine compartments are enclosed with insulated removal panels which provide excellent access.  (2) automatic bilge pumps 800 gph each, (1) fixed manual bilge pump with long hose, push / pull rod steering system.

ELECTRICAL:
Northern Lights Generator provides power for  110 volt system; 12 volt DC system with three gel battery bank (375 amp/hour capacity), selector switch for each battery and in series, volt meter for each battery, breaker panel, cabin lights and running lights.  110 Volt AC circuit  and twin Cruisair air conditioning  units provides a/c for  all areas, also  powered by two 30 amp shore power cord, saloon and cabin receptacles and 6 gallon Isotherm water heater. Charging systems include a Guest automatic battery charger and the engine alternators.

RIGGING & SAILS:
7/8 fractional sloop with deck stepped aluminum Sparecraft mast and 2000 stainless steel wire standing rigging.  Single spreader with forestay, diamond stay, lower and upper shrouds.  Profurl roller furler (installed 2001), for jib;  boom rigged with lazy jacks and jiffy reefing .  Amiot main sheet traveler, Facnor mainsail slides, Spinlock line clutches and Meissner self tailing  2 speed winches.  

Sail inventory consists of three sails:

Jib w/UV cover
Spinaker

HULL & DECK:
Fiberglass construction,  vacuum bagged, with abbreviated keels and spade rudders.  Hull and deck finished with white gelcoat and molded nonskid surfaces.  Stainless steel bow pulpits, stanchions and double lifelines.  New trampoline on foredeck. The foredeck features a large storage lazarette for ground tackle storage and the generator.  Side decks are wide and uncluttered leading aft to the large cockpit.  The aft cockpit features wrap around molded seats, cushions, canvas bimini top, table and helm seat.  There is also a large storage locker beneath the seat.  Both hulls feature transom steps which lead down to the water and the port side is equipped with a folding swim ladder.  There are custom stainless steel dinghy davits mounted along the aft coaming of the cockpit which provide excellent stowage for the dingy while sailing.

ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT:
8’ APEX rollup dinghy with 4 hp. Suzuki outboard engine. Ground tackle includes a 20 # Danforth with 35 ft. of high test chain hot dipped galv. Chain  and 300 ft. of   ¾ nylon rode; Fortress Anchor  with additional  nylon  rode nylon rode.  Life jackets, dock lines and fenders. New bimini top, new curtains for sliding door entrance and side window, hatches and  wrap around canvas cover  for main cabin windows.

COMMENTS:
ULABELLA is a well designed mid size catamaran with amenities not normally found in comparable cats.  It is also a blue water cruiser with good underwing clearance and moderate sail area.  The 3 cabin layout offers comfortable accommodations for six people while her size and rig allow for easy handling by one or two owners .  She is a US Documented.
