COMMENTS:
AQUA VITAE is a 42 ft luxury cruising performance motor sailor. The David Pringle custom Super yacht standard of finishing is evident throughout with quality workmanship and luxury materials liberally used to please the senses. When detailed comparisons to a production boat are made it is easy to see why AQUA VITAE stands head and shoulders above the rest for luxury. Fitted with twin 100hp Yanmar diesels, she can motor at 14- 16 knots and cruise at 10 - 12 knots under motor or sail or both. This means getting further away on the short breaks to the better cruising, diving and fishing spots.

Cruise the warm waters of the South Pacific, watch the next America's Cup and then take home your own trophy, a Custom built luxury cruising catamaran from New Zealand. What do Kiwi designers Bruce Farr, Ron Holland and Laurie Davidson (Team NZ) have in common with sailors Sir Peter Blake(NZ), Grant Dalton(NZ) and cruising guru's Steve and Linda Dashew(USA). They all like their boats built in New Zealand!

Based in the America's Cup Village, AQUA VITAE was built with the same talents and materials that produce world class winners.

Finished in 1999 and presented in near new condition. Blue water proven with NZ-Tonga-Fiji to it's credit. This vessel has been fully commissioned and would suit a new boat buyer who doesn't want the new boat-building teething problems, budget blowouts and lengthy delays.

Fitted with in boom fully battened mainsail, Profurl furling headsail and a cruising spinnaker in a sock deployment chute for easy downwind action. All furling lines, mainsheet and halyards are led back to the helm winch which is electric and manual. This makes shorthanded sailing a breeze.

For all weather cruising, the cockpit is protected with a toughened glass windscreen and a large bimini top. Attached to this is front/side clears to keep out spray and driving rain. Comfort on board is paramount as this leads to less crew fatigue, a major safety feature in heavy weather.
