Layout
& Accomodations:
Lady Cat has 4 good size double berth cabins, one in each corner.
The interior is ash wood finish in excellent condition.
The salon and the two forward cabins are carpeted.
The galley and the two stern cabins have a teak and holly floor.
Standing height is more than 6’ throughout the boat.
Head – The head has five bathroom cabinets, a
large fixed mirror above a counter top, a foot pump in addition to
the pressurized water faucet. The head is a LAVAC, reputedly the most reliable type of
head. There is a rubber
holding tank with all necessary Y valves. The
shower sump has its own electric pump.
Master Cabin:
Queen-size berth with six storage lockers plus a tall hanging locker.
There is a cushioned seat opposite a large mirror and counter.
Alongside is a dressing area with a further four lockers, another tall
hanging locker, counter and an additional sink.
Guest Cabin:
Identical to the master cabin, but without the dressing area.
Two Forward Cabins:
Each has a substantial V Berth, four lockers, a counter and a large shelf
area.
Galley: There
is a two-sink basin sink with drainer. In
addition to the pressurized faucet there are two foot pumps,
one salt and one fresh. There
is also a drinking water faucet fitted with a fine filter.
A two burner stove, oven, microwave, and fixed coffee maker are
supplemented by three under counter cupboards and two high level storage areas.
Alongside is a pantry area with four more below counter cupboards,
substantial overhead storage cabinet and open shelving.
Refrigeration:
There is a front opening day fridge in the galley.
In the salon, one of the dining table seats is a custom made refrigerator
while the other is a freezer, both
easily accessible.
Salon: There
is a drop leaf dining table with seating, and
a separate wrap around seating area with a large coffee table.
The seats and seat backs have a custom made floral pattern Sunbrella
cushions. Above the chart table is
the VHF radios and the HI FI. The
TV is swivel mounted. Matching
clock, barometer and temp/humidity gauge on the wall.
Cockpit: A
fixed dodger has opening window sections with windscreen wipers.
The entire cockpit can be enclosed by drop down clear plastic sides as
required by the weather. Custom made Sunbrella cushions.
The helmsman’s seat has all controls and instruments to hand and an
excellent all round view. The first
mate’s seat is detachable. There
is a storage locker and additional storage in the generator compartment.
