Vessel Description

The Hunter 376 is a well made, affordable boat for the aspiring sailor that was built with an understanding of real-world cruising needs. This 37-footer has the interior of a 40 ft. yacht has the largest, best designed cockpit afloat today. Swept back spreaders, high-tech laminated chain plates, and a unique grid system spread the rig loads evenly throughout the hull without the need for a back stay. This arrangement allows for a more powerful mainsail with a larger roach and a smaller jib making sail handling easy. Everything is positioned for short-handed sailing. The slippery hull design will point, run or reach with surprising agility and power.

Down below, there is a vast ammount of natural lighting and screened ventilation throughout. Compare the increased headroom and storage in the aft stateroom with that of a larger yacht. The full service galley to starboard is near the companionway to facilitate the passing up of food, and just aft of the dining area for convenient serving below.  The saloon  is exceptionally comfortable. Perfect for entertaining family and friends. The master stateroom aft is located under the cockpit, but you can stand up, sit up in bed or on a small settee, store clothes in two small cedar-lined hanging lockers and drawers, put books and personal items on shelves, gain private access to the head and shower, watch the waves around you through hull ports, or look up at the stars at night through large opening hatches over your head.
