COMMENTS:
This home on the waves is perfect for the live aboard couple or family who want great sailing performance combined with the comforts of a home afloat and a venue for entertaining. At $262,000 US it’s priced to sell. Compared with comparably equipped catamarans on the market, this is a tremendous deal. Lots of extras and NEW additions make this an irresistible vessel for those who want to sail and live in comfort, safety and style.

She is an exceptionally strong and well-built boat designed for the tough South African sea conditions.

She is a serious blue water sailing boat ideal for a sailing couple or family who wants space. With sweptback rig designed to increase lift, asymmetrical hulls in bow and high clearance off water, she sails very well to windward and with very little pounding from waves.  The newly installed battcar system will enable ease of sailing and the dual helm controls will help in maneuvering.

With four spacious sleeping cabins two with en-suite bathrooms and one day bathroom for guests make this a boat for those who want space and comfort when they cruise. New leather salon couch and teak and maple floors as well as new refinishing give the boat an aura of tasteful luxury.

The outer hulls have been re-fiber glassed by the original manufacture using custom boat techniques, making it BETTER than typical factory production. Reports from qualified marine surveyor plus fiberglass expert confirm the quality. Major overhaul at original factory means that, in addition to new glass on hulls, the boat is cosmetically like a new one. It has a one-year factory guarantee from date of manufacture on all new work performed. Re-glassing was due to delaminaton problem arising from faulty resin.

Some of the NEW additions by the DEAN CATAMARANS factory include the following:
Genuine teak and maple flooring in main salon, galley and port hull common areas
Corian tops in galley with corian back splash all in sandstone color
Larger bed in starboard forward cabin so there will be a total of one North American King-size bed, one Queen size bed and two double beds            Teak duck boards in 3 heads

Teak steps from main salon to common areas in hulls
Dual engine controls
Burglar alarm
Security doors into cockpit                                                                  Dimmer for saloon lights
Additional bimini beam so bimini very solid for off-shore sailing
220/110v isolation transformer                                                           Larger stovetop for SMEV gas stove                                                      Teak surrounds on 3 bathroom mirrors                                                 S/steel /wood fittings in bathrooms
