In July 1996 the bottom was re-manufactured to permanently cure a blister problem. The bottom was peeled, then re-laminated using vinyl-ester resin. Also, at that time, the hullsides and undersides were painted with Awlgrip, making it better than new.
In July 1999 New fuel tanks were installed and new heads installed in both baths.
