The Admiral 38 is
easily maneuverable in confined spaces, and is ideal for exploring shallow water with her
800mm draft. The Admiral can be handled by one person and has a fully battened mainsail,
lazy jacks and roller furler headsail. This is an affordable cruiser for any family. The
space has to be seen to be believed. Not many 50 foot monohulls can match this modern
concept where you combine space with a potential 200 mile a day performance. Four couples
or two couples with children are comfortably accommodated. The continuity of galley saloon
and cockpit make for a typical holiday inside/outside patio style living, both at harbor
and at sea. Nobody except those wanting to sleep are cut off from the social or functional
hub of the boat. You can watch-keep and navigate or make coffee. A bimini can be fitted
over the cockpit area for tropical sailing, the trampoline therefore becomes the ideal
tanning area. Transom platform provides easy access to the water for swimming, climbing
into the dingy, fishing or diving.
Two recent
improvement to the Admiral include foredeck louver type steps which allow for easy access
to the coachroof and mast area, simultaneously providing excellent all round visibility
from inside the saloon.
Additional
improvements to the aft section has allowed for a walkway from the cockpit area onto the
swim platform, this has also enabled us to place the mainsheet system on an overhead
"targa wing"
Built using the latest international building technique and the exacting care of 30
years yacht building experience you can be assured that your Admiral Catamaran will give
